Art of Hope Counseling,
PLLC
A focused approach to treating trauma & helping you find your way to brighter, hope-filled days.

You can find freedom...
Relief from the impact of trauma on our life is possible. By allowing ourselves to tune into the body’s language of communication, we can find and address the needs that have been previously unmet. Meeting these needs allows for healing, freedom from faulty beliefs,& a new perspective on what life can be.

“My job is to help you meet your goals. It’s not to ‘fix’ you. It’s not to judge you. It’s to work with you-- to teach you how to engage your amazing mind and body so you can work together as a team. It’s my priviledge to walk with you through this healing journey, providing compassionate support as you uncover the power within to truly find the connection that brings hope and healing.”
~ Holly Christesnsen, LCSW- Owner, Art of Hope Counseling
Hi. I’m Holly Christensen

Holly Christensen, LCSW
I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) who specializes in working with people impacted by events outside of their control, resulting in symptoms of trauma.
I am a certified First Responder Counselor (CFRC), Critical Memory Integration (CMI) Therapist & Master Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) clinician. I have undergone training for betrayal trauma and I also utilize Mindfulness, Guided Imagery, and other therapy modalities to help my clients achieve their goals.
Working with people on their journey of healing is a sacred priviledge that I hold near and dear to my heart. I have lived in Southeast Idaho for over 40 years and love its beauty and the amazing people who call this area home.
A little bit about me....
I have been a licenced mental health counselor since 2017. I received my undergraduate degree in Social Work from BYU-I in 2016 and my Masters degree in Social Work from Boise State University in 2017.
In 2020, I became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and I’m licensed in Idaho and Utah.
I have been married to my husband since 1990, have 6 kids who have made me a Nana (which I love), and have too many pets.
Family, service, travel, and good food are things I absolutley adore. I grew up dancing, was diagnosed with ADHD at the ripe old age of 52, love good music, books,, working with my hands, and find it hard to sit still. While I don’t take myself too seriously, I do take my clients and their feelings very seriously and strive to treat people with care and respect.
